Captain Maddox Greene’s response to the Nausicaan incident stabilized Sentinel Station—on paper. But in practice, the region has been holding its breath. Trade traffic has slowed down, and Nausicaan patrols have been lingering just outside sensor range. Using leverage, Nausicaa retaliates by intimidating trade routes, affecting commerce. While on patrol, the Frontier receives a distress call from a freighter and, during the rescue, makes a discovery.
